Teachers can manage groups of students, manual or self-defined course enrollments, and track student progress with robust reporting.

Dedicated Portal

A university-branded portal tailored to your specific institutional structure and needs, the dedicated portal expands the functionality of ALC with extensive features, including class or cohort assignment of learners, program- and role-based learning, automated course enrollment and hosting your own custom course content. Intended for 100s of students.

In both Avid Learning Central portal offerings, school-based Course Managers are empowered to manage user memberships, enroll learners in courses, and generate reports. Group management is a powerful tool within the Dedicated Portal to flexibly assign students and staff based on common departments, degree or career tracks, year or grade cohort, etc. The Dedicated portal provides additional features, including automatic role-based enrollment, custom learning paths, and can be supplemented with additional value-added custom content posting and/or development from Avid’s Learning Services organization.
