NX216EL Avid NEXIS System Administration (eLearning)

Length

This is a remote blended learning course comprised of 3 hours of interactive online video content* and a 1-hour live instructor-led online webinar.

Overview

The Avid NEXIS System Administration (eLearning) (NX216EL) is a blended learning course providing an interactive environment for users to gain an in depth understanding of how to administer and maintain an Avid NEXIS | PRO, E2 and E4 system.

The course is comprised of a series instructional videos and interactive activities covering a range of administration topics such as how to create and manage workspaces, check system status, troubleshoot issues, create and understand user accounts, connect to clients, mount/dismount workspaces, configure a multi-engine system, and deal with hardware failures.  The course also covers basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the Avid NEXIS | PRO, E2 and E4 hardware.

The course is divided into a series of modules that builds knowledge sequentially from the introduction through to an optional final assessment. Each module contains illustrated concepts as well as demonstrations and simulated lab exercises to help users master procedures.

This is followed by a scheduled 1-hour live online webinar reviewing the video content, going deeper into the topics covered, providing the opportunity to speak directly with an Avid NEXIS instructor and ask any questions you have about your system, troubleshooting issues, as well as tips for maximizing your facilities’ workflow.

This course prepares candidates for the Avid Certified NEXIS System Administration certification exam, as well as being the foundation of the program for candidates pursuing the certification path to become an Avid Certified Support Representative for Avid NEXIS.

Attendees must complete the videos prior to attending the webinar.

The NX216 Avid NEXIS System Administration course provides a full classroom based alternative to this remote blended learning course.
