On-Site Training

Customer-Site Cancellation

All on-site class cancellations must be made in writing. Avid Global Services team must be informed fifthteen (15) business days prior to the class start date, otherwise payment in full will be required and is non-refundable.

Class Sizes

Classes taught for one customer at the customer’s location are for a maximum of six (6) students. 1 set of course materials will be provided per student (maximum of 6). Should additional seats in the class be required customers can approach the Avid Education manager scheduling the class to discuss options to bring in additional instructors for an additional cost. Additional courseware can also be purchased if needed.

Class Times

Unless otherwise stated classes will begin at 9:00 a.m. (local time) and end at 6:00 p.m. (local time). There will be a one-hour break for lunch at approximately 1:00 p.m., exact time will be determined by the class instructor. Short breaks will be given by the Instructor as well to allow for drinks, restroom visits, etc.

Class Surcharges

Any request for weekend training, or an abnormal (split-shift or evenings) training schedule, must be discussed with Avid’s Education manager who scheduled the class and arrangement must be approved by the Director for Education. If weekend or abnormal scheduling of training is approved a surcharge will be added to the price of the class

 

Avid Certification

Taking Exams

New Certification

Students taking an exam for a certification course must be proctored at all times for all attempts.

Re-certification

Depending on the certification, you may or may not be required to be proctored for the examination.

Systems Requirement

All exams administered by Avid are only available online. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop for exams. Laptops used must be able to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. Students will need their login credentials to their Avid.com accounts to take the exams. If they do not have an Avid.com account; the Instructor/Proctor will be able to provide assistance with setting the account up.
